HADDOU design material
HADDOU design material has an inlay of fine jacquard tissue. And HADDOU is another option for your interior design ideas. And while it looks dark silver, it has a nice shine of blue and green. And you can see this shine, which the luxury interior design material has, in the videos below. Where the material turns in order to have the lights come from different angles, causing the shimmer to appear. And also the example clips show, how the inlay of the HADDOU is not flat, which causes the reflection to run along the metal tissue in these nice waves.
But with the design materials HADDOU the ripples of reflection run according to the line of the metallic grid. Therefore, it matters in which direction you position the material, which again is ultimately dependent on the form of the material as you position it into your interior design idea. Therefore, it is important to think about the positioning of the material before it is cut.

But because the panels have a certain dimension before we cut them, in order to fit your interior design concept, It might have an advantage to prefer one layout over the other. But because we are very much used to work closely together with the designers, which use our design material, you can talk to us about your design ideas in detail.
The HADDOU material has a very nice shine to it. While the design material looks gray or dark silver, yet on some parts it shimmers in green and blue. But in order to control the appearing of that shimmer, it does make a difference in which direction the inlay is put in your design idea. And therefore it is important to think about the direction of the inlay inside the material before it is cut into the right size. So in the video above, you see the design material being turned from side to side in one direction, which animates the glitter. While this movement is happening when a person walks past the design material.
But in the video below, the same material is positioned with a 90-degree turn. Therefor, the glitter is far less animated when walking past it.
In one turning angle the glimmer appears in spots, which then stay stationary, in the 90 degrees turned installation the glimmer will rather run through the material.

Both options look great. As one is more dynamic, it might also be annoying. While the other one is rather static, which might be calming.

Design material HADDOU has a jacquard fabric
HADDOU is one of our design ideas. And this design tile has a jacquard tissue inside. While jacquard is a fabric stile, which is named by a French weaver. And this type of fabric can also be called brocade, damask or ormatelassé. While the name jacquard does not refer to the materials used, as for example in cotton, where the basic ingredient names the stuff. Instead, the jacquard fabric is named by the technique in which it is woven. Because a special technique is used in order to weave patterns into the fabric. Therefore, patterns put into the material, with a certain way of connecting the threads, is what gives the name to this type of material. While of course in our design material the fabric´is woven metal, which creates this intense shimmer. We think the HADDOU material with its jacquard fabric could easily adorn a casino design, while it could be the outside of a craps table, or it could also be the front of a bar.
