Heat blocking glass

We say this is the new technology level of heat blocking glass. And this heat blocking glass is acrylic glass and therefor it can be put in all forms and is light. So we are a group of four expert companies for acrylic glass. And one of our companies developed this new high performance heat blocking glass. And it is the best heat blocking glass that we know on the market. So if you are working in the caravan industry make sure to get a sample to see this wonder for yourself. Because maybe you want to be among the first, to get this new standard of heat blocking glass for your vehicle production. And if you have a company for building yachts then also maybe you want to contact us and get a sample. Because what we hold here is absolutely amazing.

So prepare to see the next level in heat repelling glass coming from Europe.

We say it is like: having shadow in the bright sun

and you will experience that for yourself and then ultimately for your customers.

And we can put this little acrylic glass wonder in any form that you need.

Because we are European acrylic glass manufacturers with a long company tradition. And therefor we have all the machinery right here for processing the glass. And now our scientific research mixed with a good deal of experience and also talent created this heat blocking glass.

While the nanoparticles in our glass blocks up to twice as much heat as low-E glass.

So on average our product repels about 45 % more heat than Low-E glass. And therefor we call it a break through in material development.

As this means that: Compared to other products on the market that try to reflect the sun’s heat rays we believe that we offer a new standard.

Our heat blocking glass blocks 85% of the heat rays

So our high-tech system reduces the heat that passes the glass by a very large degree. Because the infrared rays are the radiation that carries the heat. As usually glass repells ultraviolet radiation very well. But this type of radiation does not carry the warmth. So with preventing the heat rays to enter through the glass the temperature inside the room stays cool. So that means that the glass minimises the heating of the room by keeping out the solar energy. And the reason for that is that still the natural sunlight from the environment is allowed to pass through the glass. But this light does not warm up the interior as the ir rays are reflected. And the heat-reflecting properties of the glass do not work with insulation. As AGC Co. for example also produces low-E glass. but they also use a system of up to triple glazing. As we find a note about this on their website. But sometimes  such coating on windows can wear of for example through the weather. Also our glass is not majorly tinted. So in the images you can see a plant photographed through the material. And the lighter tinted glass is already the one repelling 80 % of the solar heat. So even though the sun is blazing in the sky behind the product it is cool. And our stronger tinted glass even blocks 99 % percent of the heat rays. And it does not matter if the energy source is the sun or any other source. As the spectral filtering is the same. And traditionally this technology was used for either keeping rooms cool or for saving energy. And thats why often the term energy efficient glass is used.

We bend this acrylic glass heat blocker into every form you need

The best heat blocking glass compared to Low-E glass

And usually energy efficient glass is defined by a film to reflect the heat. Which you can see in examles like Pilkington developed a glass that repells heat with a film made of vanadium dioxide and tungsten. And such glass is either pyrolytic or soft-coated-glass depending on the way it is produced. While Saint Gobain works with thermally insulating double glazing on their product. And that technique makes it that the heat rays are repelled. And with this they seek an improval of the the energy efficiency of the glass. And sometimes this invention is referred to as solar control glass. But the difference to what we do is that:

Low-E glass reflects only 40-70 percent of the heat(Source).

Which means that:

Our product blocks up to twice as much heat as low-E glass.

So on average our product repells about 45 % more heat then Low-E glass. So we are talking about a break through in material developement here.

As this means that: Compared to other products on the market that try to reflect the sun’s heat rays we offer a new standard.

So get this miracle of european engineering to use it in your company

And another technique of blocking heat are window films. So the company 3M produces such films. And they claim that their technology can reflect 79 percentages of the solar heat. But there is a classic problem this kind of infrared blocking brings. As film can wear off.

While our acrylic glass rejects the solar radiaton with nano particles.

And that means that there is no coating on it whatsoever which could wear off. So using  window film has disadvantages when minimizing solar heat gain. Even though compared to metallic coating it has the advantage that you don’t have to exchange the complete window. And if you want a comparisson if low-E glass with coating is more effective or if you should use window film read this article. So we saw that the idea of solar control glass is not new. As it is one stage in the history of glass making. And one early patent on energy saving glass was made already in 1971. And an earlier patent for heat reflecting laminates was made even earlier in 1958. And this invention already mentioned tinted glass which was copiright protected yet earlier in 1935.

Use cases for our heat blocking glass

Heat blocking lass for sunrooms and solarium

You can utilize our heat-reflective glass as windows in sunrooms. As it can well be used as heat blocking glass for such a solarium. But it is to new to have been used in sunrooms or three season rooms yet. So you can be among the first to offer these heat blocking windows to your clients. And it is of good use for this purpose as those interiors typically gain a lot of heat with the sunshine. As the infrared rays pass through the glass of the sunroom. So it can be important to minimize the heat. And with keeping a certain part of the solar spectrum out you are keeping the room temperature cool. But yet our company does not build sunrooms or patios. Becaus we just sell acrylic glass. Therefor link this page to your sunroom building company.

Yes it does. It is a 80 percantages heat blocking material. And that is for the more see through plate

Heat-reflective glass could also be used in patios or four season rooms

Heat blocking glass for caravans and campers

Our heat blocking glass could also be employed for caravans. As our acrylic glass just does the right thing for this purpose. And it is specifically good for being used in caravans because we deliver it in every form. And campers are made of metal. So they heat up as the sun’s rays fall through the window. While the absorption of the heat rays from our glass prevents a temperature rise in the interior. So our glass that repells heat is a great benefit for caravans. While our glass is to new so it has not yet been build into any camper or caravan.

No film

No. We develope and sell materials to the industry. If you want this build in link this page to a car expert and ask them if they can do this

Blocking heat with glass is useful for caravans

Heat blocking glass for yachts

Also our heat blocking glass can be used in yachts. As they also are made of metal. So just as the caravan they have the same problem with gaining a lot of heat from the daylight. So they get super hot because metal is a great energy conductor. Because the solar heat enters through the window. And so our glass reflecting the suns heat is ideal for a yacht. As it minimizes the temperature gain from the radiation. And it is especially necessary to employ heat blocking glass on a yacht as on the sea a lot of natural light blazes into the window because of the reflection from the water. And remember that we deliver in any shape. And again our acrylic glass windows are to new to yet have been employed in any yacht. So be among the first to offer this gret new technology to your customers. And so make use of this invention. But if you are a private person and you want this built in into your yacht be aware that we only construct the material. And therefor link this page to an expert who can build this in into your yacht.

If you are not looking for our product but for actual glass then you might want to read this article: Which heat-reflective glass types are there.

Some more reflections on heat-reflective glass you can find here.

PPG Industries worked on a glass which does the absolute opposite. Their Solarphire(Link) allows especially much of the infrared spectrum to transmit through the glass. So their development aims at a use with photovoltaik modules. As the energy efficiency of those systems can be enhanced with the utilization of this special glass.

Modern architecture like skyscrapers usually uses supersilver glass as a design material. Which is a glazed heat blocking glass.
